White woollen fabric sweater with square cut neck bound in blue tape and made with a two button slit opening to mid-chest bound in white cotton. Sleeves mid-arm length. Short slits up side seams at bottom. Appears to be an adaptation of a Class II Seaman's Jumper.

Oval, silver, with curved bar suspender in the form of wings. Obverse - the sovereign's head (GRV) in left profile with full title round the rim and a narrow border of laurel leaves. Reverse - an eagle in flight with, on its back, Hermes the Messenger of the Gods, with Caduceus in left hand and a laurel wreath in right. A narrow border of laurel leaves. Ribbon - white and red in narrow diagonal lines falling to wearer's left. The edge engraved 228527 A.M.2. BARBER. F.W.A. R.A.F.

Double-breasted, eight button jacket with slash side pockets and slash breast pocket. Two short vents at rear. Roll-step collar. Gold rank lace to Flight Sub-Lieutenant on cuff surmounted by a gilt eagle. Moth damaged.

Around the rim GEORGIUS V BRITT: OMN: REX ET IND: IMP: Reverse - A naked male warrior holding a sword on horseback right side. The horse trampling a shield bearing the Prussian eagle, a skull and cross bones at base. Round the rim 1914 1918 Ribbon - Mid orange with blue, black, white edges. The edge impressed 228527 2.A.M.
