Glass fibre helmet shell fitted with a twin visor assembly) and receivers for US J-type oxygen mask bayonets. Covered in camouflaged tape.
Issued to Gp Capt Pixton when on exchange with 355th Tactical Fighter Squadron, flying Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt aircraft at Myrtle Beach Air Force Base, South Carolina, in the early 1980s. Oxygen mask catalogued as X008-9349.
