Programme for the world premiere of the film “Battle of Britain” at the Odeon Theatre, New Street, Birmingham on Monday 15 September 1969
The premiere included a programme of music by the Royal Air Force Bands of Royal Air Force Cosford and Royal Air Force Stafford and was attended by the Deputy Mayor of the City of Birmingham and Battle of Britain pilots who were guests of the Royal Air Forces Association. Spitfire Productions, United Artists Corporation and The Rank Organisation donated the proceeds of the World Premieres and the Royal Gala Performance of the film to the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, the Royal Air Forces Association and the Royal Air Force Museum
